Did I cheat? voila, F7 did the trick. This problem has been vexing me for a long time, so I finally checked in here, and voila! When this problem happens, you'll notice that moving the arrow keys around just moves the cursor around the page.

I thought it was a computer problem and not the browser until I noticed that the problem did not occur when I tried it on IE8.
