Pdf Ifilter Was seaching seaching for 3 days (on and off) the reason why was not able to find text in pdf created with Ocr an my new S1300i scanner… Finally it is Adobe Acrobat Search Not Working I can run the exact same search on my Win7 32-bit laptop and the search function works perfectly.

This tool uses JavaScript and much of it will not work correctly without it enabled. I keep looking for some selection or preference that is set up wrong, but I have no idea why it works this way.

Windows 7, had to reindex etc etc. The same PDFs, all of the sudden the search function cannot find any words. I have just followed the instructions as laid out on your article I can witness that it works.

I had 9.3.0 and upgraded to 9.4 the problem is still there. In my Outlook account, I am now able to find items that may have been on a PDF attachment on not in the body of the email. And Adobe now marks the PDF iFilter as tested for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008.

Newer Than: Search this thread only Search this forum only Display results as threads Useful Searches Recent Posts More... Then I clicked on the button in the top left corner (below the red X) and selected Table of Contents, and oddly enough search results started popping up. Thanks!
