Internet Wall Port Not Working

The socket itself was not opened by my dad. Room 2 has a laptop. both don't work and try it on my laptop... You have a million options, I'm partial to Netgear switches.

  1. Attach a clip lead to short each pair at one end and check at the other end to make sure you have continuity for each pair.
  2. If you can, you know it's in the physical layer. alabamr is right, the wall jacks are really susceptible to breaking, so replace that first.
