I need to be able to recover the information on the drive. I'm using a mac. Any suggestions? Solved the issue in no time.

- Make sure the hard drive has the correct external power adapter and that the light on the front of the drive is turning on and is not orange or red.
You can check for this using the Device Manager. Could you please expand on that part (exFAT) and how to do it? So I am unable to proceed on any of the steps you mentioned. That's your advice?? HELP........ but beneath it "not initialized" is shown..
Actually it was working properly a week ago but now when I connect it on my Lenovo laptop the sound that is connected and even the light on the hard disk Usb Drive Not Showing Up Mac The problem is that when I plug it in it is first recognized (at least it sees something) and then it goes away (with the corresponding sound). any suggestions?
