Exchange 2003 Push Mail Not Working

If you are looking for a Trusted 3rd Party SSL Certificate that you can install on your server, is cheaper than a GoDaddy SSL Certificate and means you don't have to Some lower/mid-range consumer devices don't support it at all. The activesync test passes fine like this. Try a different network - Some network or email administrators restrict access to the ActiveSync server to those outside the corporate firewall (it sounds weird but is actually pretty common). have a peek here

Hence i got kicked out and RDP and all other stuff went down except internal mail etc. Alan Hardisty, on November 14, 2011 at 5:44 pm said: Do you use Forms Based Authentication on OWA (pretty login screen vs bland username / password box)? I tested a different exchange installation (running exchange 2010) and push works fine so I don't think this has anything to do with the devices themselves. If you only have a handful of devices, then it won’t take long to do, but if you have dozens, a £30 1-Year SSL certificate is probably a very good investment.

  • Many thanks for your help.
  • The activesync is working but its taking over 15 minutes for emails to get to iphones.

  • How do I add an entry to the internal dns server to point to the internal address and not the external one?
  • What is even more interesting, is that if I add a contact in my iPhone, it WILL add that same contact into my Outlook.
  • I hope this helps somone who has the same issue.
  • I came here several times but, only when got completely desperate and after trying all your tips decided to go from the very first to the very last step to get
  • Creating a special policy for "old" iPhones and applying it selectively is probably the best answer.

If you do not have SP2 installed you can download it here – 2. Sadly, the information you have found is inaccurate. I have posted my problem under the title "device security settings on sbs 2003". Select ‘Do not change Internet e-mail configuration’ and click Next.

That was me just being stupid. Jan 6, 2011 8:00 AM Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by klein3, klein3 Jan 6, 2011 8:07 AM in response to Allan Sampson Level 1 (0 points) Jan Subscribe to my Apple feed for up-to-date details! Hopefully this will keep it from reverting back.

Same problem is with my colleague in office. All rights reserved. Email works fine, but only when I open the mail app, no push. Are the iPad's shared resources or do specific users have them?

These are my specs and configuration: Windows 2003 Standard (Single Server) Exchange 2003 SP2 UCC SSL Certificate from ISS 6.0 configuration ==================================== Default Website\Properties\Directory Security Authentication and access control: Enable As Debello encountered, you also of course have to be able to add A records. It's doing my head in……. This commandlet (from Krypted) will create such a policy: New-ActiveSyncMailboxPolicy -Name iPhone -AllowNonProvisionableDevices $true I can't add another Exchange server!

if you do fully manual configurations, you should be good with just the single A record.   That's anothyer question:  When you setup to androids, are you selecting 'Exchange'/ 'Activesync' or Thanks. 0 Comment Question by:Pawel_Kowalski Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email LVL 76 Active 1 day ago Best Solution byAlan Hardisty There is no error - the emails do not get pushed OMA, OWA work fine. If you cannot see the ASP.NET tab, you only have v 1.1 installed so do not worry.

I also tried to create a new user acct for testing active sync and made sure that in Active Directory, it is inheriting permissions, but I get the same error message. The reinstallation went nice and smooth. Select the 'ActiveSync' test and enter the relevant information to test.  The results should help you pinpoint where your issue lies. The website or the App? I read the link and removed admin priv. The site is an official Microsoft site specifically for testing Exchange installations and connectivity.

One last thing, is that I am also not able to access my Global Address Book from my iPhone that sits within my Outlook.

You can purchase a cheap, trusted SSL certificate from that will work happily. Thank you very much. If any version other than 1.1 is selected, please change it to v 1.1.4322. 6. But it is only very temporary.

There is no SMS going on here at all. Do I need to create Maxheartbeatinterval and minheartbeatinterval keys on back end exchange as well? Wildcart certs NOW cost what REGULAR certs USED to cost! Change: Installed Windows Server 2003 SP2 + Bitdefender Antivirus. Note 2 - this also assumes your external mail server IP is accessible from your LAN. Please try again later.

I am going to restart the server at lunch and see if that helps. However, I did not use an "external" rather I used my internal router IP of 10.x.x.1, which already has the static DNS's set up in the WAN settings.
